My journey began as an artist in childhood, by sketching out anime or cartoon characters which I liked. I was always fascinated with comic character styles, and from there on, I started creating art. My calligraphy and lettering passions began from the inception of Instagram, where I discovered a Turkish calligrapher who was doing Gothic lettering. I started learning that style and from there on, I branched out into several different styles like brush lettering, frayed lettering, etc.

I have learned calligraphy and lettering from trial and error. I used to watch multiple videos of other creators doing different styles of calligraphy and lettering. Though I do have a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Environmental Design, but I have not learned calligraphy/lettering through the conventional route.

I have been recognized by notable creators in the calligraphy/lettering niche. My artwork has been shared by ‘Calligraphy Masters’ which are a staple in the calligraphy/lettering field, as well as ‘Karin Markers’ which is a brush pen brand for artists like me. I’ve also collaborated with them on several of my artworks.

I’ve created several tutorials for basic brush lettering on my YouTube channel as well as my Instagram page, which did very well for my audience. Those tutorials garnered good responses from my viewers.
